In March 1971, a series of bizarre events occurred near a military radar base off the coast of Spain. What began as routine patrols turned into one of the most unsettling close encounter testimonies of Cold War Europe. On the night of March 25th, the base’s German Shepherds—well-trained patrol dogs—suddenly became unusually agitated and restless. They could not be calmed. Mila recalled that the dogs seemed to sense something completely foreign.

Soon after, a sentry pointed to the sky. Above the radar dome, a disc-shaped craft appeared—described as a classic double-layered oval shape, emitting a golden glow. The light was bright enough to clearly illuminate the object, but strangely, it wasn’t harsh.

Several soldiers witnessed the object drifting slowly across the horizon, then suddenly accelerating at an astonishing speed toward the sea, disappearing.

That wasn’t all for the night.

Another soldier near the rocky coastline later witnessed the object rapidly descending toward the sea. Upon contact with the water, it emitted an extremely intense flash, so strong it temporarily blinded him. He was later found covering his eyes, which remained swollen and red for several days. Later that same night, Mila and another dog handler, fully armed, followed a dog toward the fence—because they spotted a strange patch of green glowing area at the edge of the base.

As they advanced, the surrounding air felt “electrified.” Mila described a tingling sensation on his tongue, like touching a battery. Even the dog seemed distressed, shaking its head repeatedly.

Then they heard it.

Heavy footsteps—fast, purposeful, and chillingly close.

👽 Face to Face: A 2-Meter Tall Humanoid

From the darkness emerged a very tall figure, estimated to be about 7 to 7.2 feet tall (approximately 2.1-2.2 meters). The soldiers shouted warnings, but there was no response.

In panic, one soldier opened fire. Mila followed, firing multiple shots from his 9mm pistol. The muzzle flash illuminated the creature.

What they saw was completely unlike a human.

🔥 The Vanished Fence

Soon after, the soldiers heard the sound of metal clashing. At daybreak, the evidence was undeniable.

A section of the base’s inner fence—about 50 centimeters wide—had completely vanished. The edges showed burn marks, as if cut or melted. The outer fence remained intact. No footprints, no debris, no mechanical explanation.

That missing section of fence was later roughly repaired with wire.

🌙 Dreams, Voices, and the Sky Returns

In the following nights, Mila experienced intense dreams related to the encounter. One night, he said he heard overlapping voices in his mind—initially unintelligible. A few days later, he claimed the message became clear, but he never publicly disclosed its content.

On March 27th, the lights reappeared, this time witnessed by dozens, even hundreds, of base personnel. The object hovered over the base for several minutes.

On March 29th, the incident escalated further: two military jet fighters approached the object, and then all three sped away at extreme velocity. Officially, no fighters were scrambled that night. But unofficially, radar operators said they were.

📁 An Investigation with No Records

After the mass sighting, higher-ups intervened. Soldiers were individually interrogated and ordered to write reports. Later, two American military personnel arrived at the base, accompanied by Spanish Air Force officers.

According to witnesses:

• Soldiers were questioned separately
• Explicitly told to forget the incident
• Photographed in front of a white wall with extremely bright flashlights, causing temporary blindness

No explanation. No official investigation results were ever released.

Later, Spanish UFO researcher Antonio Rivera reported that American technicians inspected the cliffs near where the object submerged into the sea. The official explanation was radar maintenance. The Spanish Ministry of Defense later classified the case.

🔍 Still a Mystery After Fifty Years

More than half a century later, the 1971 radar base incident remains unexplained.

No radar records, no declassified conclusions, no conventional explanation can fully account for:

• The reaction of well-trained military dogs
• Eye injuries caused by intense light
• A humanoid entity completely unaffected by bullets
• A selectively melted fence
• Multiple nights of mass sightings

What remains is the testimony of trained military personnel—men who were initially disciplined for speaking out, rather than commended.
