UFOs and Nuclear Subs: Deep Sea Mysterious Trackers

UFOs don’t just appear in the sky—they also dive underwater to track nuclear submarines. During the Cold War, multiple navies reported this phenomenon known as “USO” (Unidentified Submerged Object).

The most famous cases include: in the 1960s, a Soviet nuclear submarine in the Atlantic was pursued by a brightly glowing underwater object at speeds exceeding 40 knots; in the 1970s, during the U.S. Navy’s “Gulf Breeze” sighting, a UFO descended from the sky into the water and then tracked a submarine.

Former Soviet Navy Commander Captain Vladimir Azhazha—later a renowned UFO researcher—stated that the Soviet Navy had extensive records of USOs, with some objects capable of instantly accelerating from the surface to incredible speeds. These phenomena suggest that extraterrestrials are equally interested in humanity’s oceanic nuclear deterrent.
