1980 Cash-Landrum Incident: Three Women Burned by UFO

On December 29, 1980, Betty Cash, Vickie Landrum, and her 7-year-old grandson Colby were driving home at night when they encountered a life-altering experience—a massive triangular UFO emitting intense light and extreme heat blocked the road ahead.

The three witnesses described the UFO as a huge diamond shape (estimated to be over 30 meters in diameter), with bright white light and blue flames emanating from its base. When they got out of the car to observe, they felt an intense burning sensation—as if standing in front of an oven. Later, they also saw multiple CH-47 helicopters following the UFO.

The three subsequently suffered extensive burns, headaches, nausea, hair loss, and other symptoms of radiation poisoning. They were hospitalized, and doctors diagnosed them with symptoms consistent with “radiation exposure.” They later attempted to sue the U.S. government for compensation, but the case was ultimately dismissed due to insufficient evidence.

This case includes complete medical records and diagnostic reports, making it one of the few UFO studies supported by clinical medical evidence.
