In 2019, crew members of the US Navy littoral combat ship USS Omaha (LCS-12) captured a spherical unidentified flying object using a night vision system. The footage shows a glowing orb descending slowly from the air to the sea surface, then submerging into the water without creating any splash.

Official Confirmation

In 2021, the Pentagon officially confirmed that this footage was recorded by Navy personnel and classified it as a UAP incident. Unlike the previous Nimitz incident, the USS Omaha footage is the first transmedium UAP case recorded simultaneously by shipboard radar and optical systems.
