On November 5, 1975, Arizona lumberjack Travis Walton and six coworkers were driving home after work when they spotted a glowing disc-shaped object hovering above the trees.

Out of curiosity, Walton got out of the truck to approach it, but was suddenly struck by a blue-green beam of light, sending him flying backward. His panicked coworkers sped away from the scene.

When they returned to the site, Walton had vanished. Police launched a massive search but found nothing. His coworkers later passed polygraph tests, confirming the credibility of their testimony.

Five days later, Walton mysteriously appeared near a phone booth, disoriented. He later described being taken aboard an alien spacecraft, where he encountered several small gray aliens. His story was adapted into the classic film 《Fire in the Sky》（1993）.
