In August 1951, three electrical engineering professors in Lubbock, Texas (while sitting in a backyard chatting) observed mysterious lights in the sky arranged in a V-shaped formation. The lights moved in a precise formation at extremely high speed, silently.
The professors successfully captured multiple photos with a camera—these became the famous “Lubbock Lights” photographs.
Project Blue Book Investigation
These photos were sent to the Air Force’s Project Blue Book for analysis. Although some analyses suggested they were birds reflecting city lights or aircraft, the three professors firmly denied these explanations. Blue Book ultimately classified the case as “unexplained.”
