In 1977, a series of strange events occurred in the vicinity of Aracaju, a city in northern Brazil. Local residents reported being illuminated by mysterious lights at night, after which they developed burn marks on their skin, and some even experienced nausea and headaches. The incidents caused widespread panic in the city.

The Brazilian Air Force (FAB) dispatched Captain Uyrangê Hollanda, a pilot, to investigate. His team successfully captured multiple photographs of an unidentified object using a Hasselblad camera—a luminous body hovering over the jungle. Captain Hollanda was once hit by a beam of light and later made public a large number of investigation files, making it one of the most controversial UFO cases in Brazil.
