🧑‍🔬 雅克·瓦萊 — 現代UFO研究嘅科學先驅

📍 France/United States | 📅 1939-Present | 🔍 Biography, Alternative Theories

Jacques Vallee is a French-American astronomer, computer scientist, and UFO research pioneer. His status in the UFO field is second only to Hynek, but his views are more challenging to mainstream understanding.

From Astronomer to UFO Researcher

In the 1960s, Vallee was originally a highly respected astronomer. After collaborating with Hynek to study UFO data, he began to propose a revolutionary perspective:

UFOs may not be alien spacecraft, but rather a cross-dimensional control system

Vallee Classification System

In addition to the Hynek classification, Vallee proposed another, more complex classification system:

TypeDescription
MA-1Light points flying through the air
MA-2Physical effects (radar lock-on)
MA-3Physical remnants left behind
MA-4Witness affected (amnesia, missing time)
MA-5Severe physical and psychological effects

Major Works

  • Passport to Magonia (1969) — Connection between UFOs and folklore
  • The Invisible College (1975) — A network of scientists studying UFOs
  • Dimensions (1988) — Cross-dimensional theory

Key Figure in Silicon Valley

Beyond UFO research, Vallee was also an important figure in the early internet—he was one of the early developers of ARPANET (the precursor to the internet).
