Report Background
On June 25, 2021, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) released a 9-page preliminary assessment report on UAP. This is the first official UAP report publicly released by the U.S. government in history.

Five Categories

- โOtherโ: Unclassifiable
Category 5 โOtherโ accounted for the majority of the report.

โUAP clearly pose a flight safety issue and may pose a challenge to U.S. national security.โ
The report specifically noted that some UAP exhibited โbreakthrough aerospace technologies,โ including:
- No visible propulsion systems
- Extremely high speeds
- Anomalous maneuverability
